Here’s why Queen Elizabeth II missed Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is often considered as one of the most important days in U.K society. But unfortunately for Queen Elizabeth she missed the ceremony ahead of what is usually a spectacular day in memory of those who sacrificed their freedom and life for the United Kingdom.

“The Queen, having sprained her back, has decided this morning with great regret that she will not be able to attend today’s Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph,” officials said just hours ahead of the ceremony. “Her Majesty is disappointed that she will miss the service.”

It is understood that the Queen missed the big day because of a back sprain but that sprain is unrelated to her previous health problems.
