Outrage grows as it emerges Louisville PD wrongfully murdered Breonna Taylor, 26, in terrifying botched raid

It is a murder that literally didn’t have to happen.

Somewhere in between all of the pandemic headlines there are other headlines that are just as shocking. This morning, it emerged that the Louisville PD is in hot-fucking-water after the murder of Breonna Taylor in her own home. According to NBC News, it sort of went down like this.

Remember her name…

On 13 March, the Louisville PD claimed in reports that they attempted to execute a search warrant on the home of Breanna Taylor (because as it appears that is where her boyfriend also lived.) While that may have seemed fairly innocent…..

The police reportedly didn’t announce themselves; forced entry, and never provided a copy of the warrant to either of them.

A lawsuit filed by the family notes that the couple initially thought someone was breaking into their house, er, because of the fact police never announced themselves. In fact, the cops were so keen to break-the-law they made sure to be driving unmarked cars and were in plainclothes.

Instead — Taylor per reports was reportedly shot 8 times inside her own apartment in a completely botched raid. Unconfirmed reports suggest that police attempted to execute a search warrant over alleged drugs, but that remains uncertain as of this writing.

Interestingly, the suspect in the actual narcotics case (it was a narcotics warrant they executed) had already been captured more than 10 miles away. Breanna ‘s address reportedly got wrapped up in it because police *allegedly* believed that drugs/money may have been hidden in her home. Neither her boyfriend nor Taylor had ever had a drug conviction or even as little as a criminal history.

Her boyfriend has since been charged with assault and attempted murder of a police officer.

Supporters are calling for the dismissal of charges considering it was the wrong house and neither were actually involved.
