Mom claims weed killed her son

Bryan1

In what may be one of the most bizarre stories I’ve written in a while, a Mom is making headlines this evening after claiming that a cannabis addiction killed her son. According to reports a boy by the name of Bryan Smith Jr. died of cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS) over the weekend according to his Mom.

But details surrounding his death are pretty murky and some don’t seem that they make complete sense. According to The Daily mail,  Smith ‘s mother  allegedly told doctors that her son had begun smoking cannabis at the age of 13 and used it for several years.

This story stuck out to me because of the fact I had never heard of cannabinoid hyperesmsis. WebMD says that this particular illness is pretty uncommon and usually starts with some obvious symptoms.  While the mother reportedly confirmed such to The Mail, what she didn’t confirm was how often he smoked or whether or not strains were laced.

In a bizarre interview, the Mail has published said interview in full.
