Trump Admin plans to block migrants from seeking to legally work

WASHINGTON — Interesting news on the immigration front. According to the federal register, a directive is on its way in the United States that would prevent people who cross the border from seeking asylum and would also seek to block from seeking to lawfully seek employment.

The law appears to apply to people who cross without authorisation (no word on those who did with the OK from the government). It also appears to reportedly apply to those who have been convicted of felony’s; any form of a crime, and those who seek to obtain a work permit.

Trump just doesn’t want these people to work; play, live, or survive.

Buzzfeed reports that the restrictive policy goes a step further. According to the site, the policy would also restrict the ability to actually obtain a work permit only to those who actually crossed into America by way of a port of entry.

The Trump Administration allegedly wants to extend the asylum/work permit waiting period from roughly 150 days/180 days to more than 365 days. It like other policies appears to be a rough-neck policy bid to deter migrants from attempting to come to America.
