Reports are surfacing that weeks after the arrest of the Golden State killer, authorities, confirmed that they believe they have now used DNA to identify the Zodiac Killer. California police say that some of the DNA used from Joseph DeAngelo ‘s case, has, turned up what they believe to be positive matches from some of the cases surrounding the elusive killer.
Vallejo police reportedly sent two letters from the Zodiac to a private lab, that, made an apparent DNA match to what they believe was one of the infamous killers’ murders. Investigators reportedly believe that two of the letter contain DNA, which, is currently being further identified by police.
The Zodiac Killer notoriously terrorized Northern California in the 60 ‘s. He famously shot five people; slaughtered several others, and then proceeded to send bizarre coded letters to state authorities for years. He vanished sometime in the mid 1970 ‘s and was never seen again.
