Trump’s request to postpone upcoming hush money trial denied for the 3rd time with just days to go until criminal proceedings begin

Indicted former President Donald Trump is preparing to stand trial in the hush money saga against him. Despite numerous efforts to postpone the trial, Trump’s third consecutive request has been swiftly denied.

The Lowdown

According to reports, Manhattan judge Ellen Gesmer has denied Donald Trump’s third consecutive attempt to delay his upcoming hush-money trial. Trump has attempted to play his hand in numerous instances to stop the case but has ultimately failed — it is set to begin on Monday.

Earlier this week, Trump had asked the judge to delay the case so he could appeal another ruling in the case that barred him from slandering some people associated with the proceedings (and their family members.)
