Losing the Plot: Embattled NYC mayor under investigation for corruption now accused of 1993 sexual assault in bombshell lawsuit

Embattled New York City mayor Eric Adams is once more in the headlines. Except this time Adams has been sensationally accused of sexual assault dating back to 1993 according to the filing.

A new bombshell lawsuit against Eric Adams has been made public and it suggests the troubled Mayor has a dirty past of his own. In the suit, an unidentified woman claims that in 1993 she was assaulted by Adams while a co-worker working for the city.

In New York there was something called the Survivors Act which allowed people to file suit against those accused long after the limitations expired themselves. The bill expired this week.

The suit lays out the allegations which include “sexual assault, battery and employment discrimination on the basis of Plaintiff’s gender and sex, retaliation, hostile work environment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.” ABC7 notes in the shocking report.
