Grisly details emerge in the murder of Audrii Cunningham as cops nab family friend on capital murder charge

Audrii Cunningham’s alleged killer has been charged in her death. According to police, police found Cunningham’s body tied up with rope similar to rope that had been found in the suspect’s car.

The Lowdown

KPRC has identified that suspect as 42-year-old Don Mcdougal who lived in the family’s camper as a close friend. Cops revealed that Mcdougal appeared to have tied a rock to Cunningham’s body although divers eventually did find her.

“The rope used was consistent with rope that was observed in McDougal’s vehicle on a traffic stop two days prior,” the document noted of the suspect held on separate charges.

Cops had enough reasonable evidence and cell phone data to charge him with capital murder.
