NASA is set to embark on a new fascinating mission to an ‘unknown metal world’

A new mission is preparing for takeoff at NASA. According to reports, NASA is preparing to send off a spacecraft to an asteroid called Psyche. Psyche is about 235m miles away from the sun and is believed to be the core of a leftover planet.

A fun new fact finding mission at NASA is in the final stages before takeoff. According to the space agency, an asteroid known as Psyche in between the orbits of Jupiter and Mars is set to get a second look. First found in 1852, the asteroid poses no threat to planet earth but it appears it may be the core of early planetary buidling blocks. The latter of course has sparked widepspread interest among scientists and researchers.

The mission is set to arrive in orbit sometime during 2029.
