Proxima Centuauri is a nearby world about 4 light years from earth though we do not have the capability to reportedly travel to the area just yet. A few years ago, scientists and astronomers made a startling discovery that led to the discovery of a planet orbiting the area. Now 3 years later — two more planets have been discovered in the area signaling that there appears to be a massive solar system potentially like ours that we’ve never seen before.
Right now the existence of Proxima D (there’s a few of them that have been found so far) isn’t fully confirmed obviously because humans can’t fully travel there. Over the coming months, full observations at length are expected as astronomers seek to identify further information about their reported find.
