Rupert Murdoch whose reputation at Fox News and beyond has been tattered by the network’s lies has retired. According to reports, Murdoch is handing the reigns to his conservative son Lachlan.
In the announcement Murdoch bid farewell t the company he created and later ruined.
“For my entire professional life, I have been engaged daily with news and ideas, and that will not change,” Murdoch wrote in his letter. “But the time is right for me to take on different roles, knowing that we have truly talented teams and a passionate, principled leader in Lachlan.” CNN reports.
He instead will be chairman emeritus.
