SBF isn’t the only party preparing to answer to the court. According to reports, his parents have now been sued in an effort to recoup the funds they accepted from his fraudulent scheme. FTX on their part claims that it was obvious he was scheming and they should’ve caught the red flags.
Joe Bankman and Barbara Fried are being taken to court by FTX in an effort to claw back massive sums they accepted during the height of SBF’s scam. CNN notes that FTX claims in court documents that the two ‘knowingly misappropriated’ funds that weren’t meant for them.
