A young woman in New York was shot dead after she and her friends accidentally pulled into the wrong driveway

First Ralph Yarl and now Kaylin Gillis. The great American carnage continues this week as Gillis is the latest victim of a bizarre problem. Cops in New York say Gillis and her friends were out and about on Saturday night in rural New York.

They were attempting to locate a friend’s address in the area however it was very dark and they had limited cell phone service according to police. She was shot after 65-year-old Kevin D. Monahan emerged from the residence and opened fire. It is understood he fired twice with one of the bullets striking Gillis in the vehicle.

Cops revealed that the group pulled into the driveway of a man who later had come to be armed. The suspect, 65-year-old Kevin D. Monahan, was arrested later that night and charged with second-degree murder. Monahan lives in the town of Hebron abut 56 miles outside of Albany.
