Fulton County investigators have another recording of a Trump call pressuring officials

Prosecutors in the Fulton County District Attorney’s office have obtained another recording of a reported Trump official attempting to pressure officials in Georgia. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that officials obtained the audio of Trump attempting to bribe the then House Speaker in the state to ‘overturn’ Biden ‘s election win.

Ralston notably discussed this call in an interview the following day after it had occurred.

Sources confirmed the existence of the recording to the AJC although it does not appear to be public at this time. In the recording, Trump attempts to phone David Ralston to ramp up his pressure campaign.

Trump “would like a special session of the Georgia General Assembly,” Ralston said. “He’s been clear on that before, and he was clear on that in the phone conversation yesterday. You know I shared with him my belief that based on the understanding I have of Georgia law that it was going to be very much an uphill battle.”
