American President Joe Biden is leading a series of emergency meetings in Indonesia today against the backdrop of a stunning report. That report folks claims that Russian-made missiles rained down on Poland yesterday and killed two Polish citizens. Reports are conflicting but the general consensus is that Russia launched the missiles and instead of hitting a particular area of Ukraine they instead hit Poland.
The response could go one of two ways — strict punishment for Russia or NATO could move to potentially respond with force. Article 5 of NATO ‘s organization states that an attack on one member nation is an attack on all of them. Biden is understood to have convened a meeting with G7 leaders among others to determine how officials might respond.
