PORTO ALEGRE, BRAZIL — Brazillians are up in arms and protesting the death of Joao Alberto Silveira Freitas today after he was beaten to death by supermarket security guards for reasons that are still unclear right now.

The video as screen in screen caps below shows two security officers at the supermarket physically and violently beating Freitas. The images were taken by a store employee who caught the murder on video. The murder reportedly took place at the Carrefour Supermarket in Porto Alegre.
Carrefour has since dropped the security company and fired the store manager effective immediately.
