Contrary to reports across social media and several media outlets Donald Trump will not be getting an olive branch from the government to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. According to reports published Monday, UK government officials have confirmed that to represent America only the President and First Lady have been invited to pay their respects to the late monarch. However, that isn’t what is actually causing a stir.
In the same announcement, it was revealed that world leaders will apparently be barred from using private jets and helicopters and instead will be taken to a remote location to be bussed to Westminster Abbey. You read that right — it is understood President Biden; First Lady Jill Biden, and other world leaders and their wives will be asked to ride the bus. Royal heads of state, however, as it is understood can arrive how they wish. Non-royal leaders will also be put up at the Claridge 5-star hotel.
