Things are much darker than thought against claims that former Gravity Payments CEO Dan Price is a creepy predator

It’s like an age old story at this point successful man meets secret predator vibes nobody saw coming. A bombshell piece in the New York Times this week shed light on Dan Price and his secret activities that many didn’t know about. In the piece, it is revealed that more than a dozen women have accused the former tech executive (who resigned this week) of everything from assault to rape to physical abuse of varying kinds [including his own ex-wife.]

Written by Karen Weise (who has long profiled price) the piece tackles a mysterious figure who has falsely tried to use the likes of social media to hide a very dark past. Many of the allegations against Price surround the very idea that he has used social media as sort of like a cloak to hide his true actions. In one instance, he allegedly tried to choke a woman out after he put his hands around her throat because she rebuffed his attempts to have sex with her. He reportedly faces an October trial in that particular instance.

In another instance, Kacie Margis a model, alleges that back in April 2021 during a trip to Palm Springs Calif Price raped her while she was sleeping. Cannabis edibles were believed to be involved in this situation, however, Margis says that at no point did she consent to having sex with Price simply because she was knowingly asleep.
