The Q Club is engulfed in controversy over claims that its owner is a rapey criminal who plied underage boys with date rape drugs

Manhattan ‘s Q Club is in the news this week. According to a new lawsuit its own Alan Picus allegedly told bouncers not to check I.D’s, and deployed the use of date rape drugs (GHB.) These instances reportdly date back to the club ‘s opening when it burst onto the scene during th pandemic.

The story gets pretty murky from here. According to lawsuit documents reviewed by Bazaar Daily, the owner has been identified as Alan Picus who apparently has a penchant for boys; drugs, and fostering a discriminating environment for anything and anyone non-white.

Frankie Sharp a former employee is the party bringing suit against the club who claims he was wrongfully fired in May of this year after raising the initial concerns about the way the club was ran. Sharp maintains that Picus was fully on board with ID’s not being checked and practically handing out GHB as if it were candy.

In one instance Picus allegedly said he didn’t want clientele that looked like they were from the Bronx and that “alienating white boys” was something the club had to ensure it didn’t do.

The Q Club in Hell’s Kitchen, which was opened in June last year. The club has now fired Picus
