A long-expected decision on partial student loan forgiveness is making its way down the pipeline. According to the Washington Post Joe Biden is preparing to announce his decision on just how much debt forgiveness he’s willing to sign off on. Wapo has that figure at about $10,000 per person to start (as long as they don’t go over an income cap) but it is unclear if he will go further than that.
The forgiveness would tap out for those making more than $150,000 a year and may even go as low as $125,000.
