If Joe Biden becomes President it is all but confirmed that his Vice President will in fact be a woman. According to Biden ‘s campaign, those women have now been narrowed down to a shortlist of 6 and feature no shortage of wide-ranging experience and profiles amongst themselves.

As November approaches faster than ever before, Biden hopes to equalise his ticket by adding a woman of colour.

Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts (top left) and Kamala Harris (top center) of California, as well as Susan Rice (bottom right), and Florida Rep. Val Demings (bottom left) and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms (bottom right), both of whom are black, and New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (bottom center), a Latina.
