We are very concerned at the idea that a man who approached us about an alleged business partnership has gone ahead and publicly claimed that we are part of his business without the necessary contracts signed. The Daily News (nor its parent company Khane Enterprise) are associated with Tan Lay Chee nor Orange Int.
Chee approached us about a year and a half ago about a million-dollar business partnership (claim) in Asia. None of the claims made by Chee have ever came to be truthful and therefore we distanced ourselves before it ever became a total partnership.
Chee has made multiple dubious claims about us; about our business, and the state of our relationship with him. Our relationship never went beyond initial inquiries. We are not representatives of his apparent company on any stock exchange; business, or anything of the nature. Chee nor his business partners (Chan; Jack, or anyone else) have any meaningful association with our company or newspapers.
We are working with websites to have the fraudulent listings removed.
