Missouri Gov Indicted On Felony Invasion of Privacy Charges

ST LOUIS —  Word to the wise: Don’t sneak saucy pictures of a fling without the direct consent of said fling.   The Governor, Eric Greitens, is learning that the hard way following a grand jury issuing a scathing indictment on felony invasion of privacy charges  stemming from an affair he had in 2015.   Documents show that the woman involved, only identified by her initials,    reported to police that after the fling — in an attempt to apparently blackmail her if she ever spoke about it — Greitens took a “nearly nude photo of her” without her consent.

The indictment documents, obtained by this very newspaper, show that the  situation occurred on 21 March 2015.   Greitens, through his attorney,  denied the claims that he blackmailed the woman in a statement to The Daily News. Although alike many other times, he, refused to comment on whether or not he actually took the photo in question.
