Don’t visit government websites in the U.K this week

There’s trouble brewing in the cryptocurrency world this weekend. According to several government agencies in the United Kingdom,  systems, have been compromised for multiple websites across the nation.   Reports first surfaced Sunday morning after security experts learned that  people were getting antivirus alerts on government owned web properties.

The bitcoin-like mining software apparently has been installed on quite a few systems throughout Europe; the United Kingdom, and the United States.   The software apparently includes some pretty intricate code, that,  if successful will prove to be critically damaging to software devices across the world.

Per experts,  the  troublesome program is apparently known as Coinhive.  While not much is known about the virus, here’s what is known.
