Elon Musk is taking OpenAI to court in new documents that reveal a longstanding feud between Musk and that of OpenAI and Sam Altman. Musk famously helped get OpenAI off the ground back in 15′ though departed the board halfway through 18.’
The Lowdown
The AP is out with lawsuit documents on behalf of Musk that claim OpenAI has ‘perverted’ its original mission that was meant to be an open-sourced project rather than say a corporate one. Musk ‘s dilemma with the company sits with the claim that OpenAI betrayed its mission and its users in favour of seeking higher profits and returns for Microsoft.
