Ex-prison transport officer admits to shockingly sexually assaulting detainees in gut-wrenching plea deal that revealed his terrors

A shocking plea deal involving an ex prison transport officer is making headlines. According to reports, former transport officer Marquet Johnson, 44, has admitted to federal authorities that he knowingly sexually assaulted multiple female detainees.

The shock plea deal revealed that in total Johnson is accused of assaulting more than 11 women in his capacity as a transport officer. According to reports, in one instance Johnson brandished a weapon ordering the woman to comply otherwise it would ‘get very ugly.’ Johnson on his part has admitted to at least 3 of the assaults but not the others.

According to the case, Johnson was working for Inmate Services Corporation back in 2019 when these crimes were committed.

Every person has a basic right to dignity and respect,” US Attorney Alexander Uballez for the District of New Mexico said in a statement. “And nobody, no matter the crime of which they are being accused, deserves to be raped. When jailers fail their duty to those in their charge, they will join them in custody.”
