Disgraced lawyer Jenna Ellis is now the third Trump co-defendant to plead guilty in a week

Jenna Ellis one of the many lawyers who threw their entire life away for Donald Trump has pleaded guilty to the charges against her in Georgia’s case. As part of the plea, Ellis has to assist prosecution with cases going forward likely including Trump’s himself.

The verdict is out in the case against Ellis. According to reports, Ellis appeared at an unscheduled hearing in Atlanta this week to enter a plea. That plea has now become the third guilty plea in a week in Georgia’s massive case against Ellis and 18 others including Donald Trump.

“If I knew then what I knew now, I would have declined to represent Donald Trump in these post-election challenges. I look back on this experience with deep remorse,” Ellis said during the hearing.

“As an attorney who is also a Christian, I take my responsibilities as a lawyer very seriously and I endeavor to be a person of sound moral and ethical character in all of my dealings,” Ellis said.
But after the 2020 election, “I failed to do my due diligence,” she said.

“I relied on others, including lawyers with many more years of experience than I, to provide me with true and reliable information … what I did not do, but should have done, your honor, was to make sure that the facts the other lawyers alleged to be true were, in fact, true,” Ellis said.
