WASHINGTON — House Republicans have once again failed to pass a funding effort. This means that without a deal in the next 24 hours, the government is all but certain to shut down. Hard-line Republicans are hanging on to their demands for impeachment; Kevin’s removal as Speaker, and other items that are or would be essentially DOA in the Senate.
