Following their widely mocked apology following their letters to Danny Masterson, Ashton Kutcher, and Mila Kunis are out at Thorn — a child sex abuse group based on helping survivors. Kutcher helped found the group.
A letter written by Kutcher confirmed that they would be stepping down in wake of the controversy. The controversy has not landed well with the public.
“Victims of sexual abuse have been historically silenced, and the character statement I submitted is yet another painful instance of questioning victims who are brave enough to share their experiences,” Kutcher wrote in a letter to Thorn’s board, per Time.
