Canadian rapper Tory Lanez has officially been sentenced. According to the case, Lanez will spend the next 10 years behind bars for shooting Megan in the foot following an altercation on that troubling night.
The case against Daystar Peterson the convicted criminal has come to an end. In the final sentencing, Lanez who often showed no remorse for shooting a woman let alone a Black woman ultimately will pay the price for his sins.
He can still be deported to his native Canada as part of his sentencing.
Peterson had engaged in a smear campaign against Megan in a previous effort to discredit her sparking widespread backlash across social media. Stallion on her part did not appear in court for his sentencing in an effort to protect her mental health.
