Four of the five infamous Tennessee police officers that aided along the murder of Tyre Nichols have lost their right to engage in any form of police work in Tennessee. According to NBC News, a state panel voted this week to strip each of them of their certification following the horrific ordeal.
The decision ultimately came down following a determination by the Peace Officer Standards & Training Commission. Those officers are Demetrius Haley; Emmitt Martin III and Justin Smith. They also approved the decision by Desmond Mills Jr. to surrender his certification.
