A Simpson’s episode titled ‘One Angry Lisa’ is no longer available in Hong Kong amid so called concerns and backlash from the communists. According to reports, US streamer Disney+ has pulled the episode from its service in Hong Kong over a joke about forced labor camps in the country (hint: they do actually exist though and are believed to be crimes against humanity.)
The episode features Marge at an exercise class with a photograph of the Great Wall of China in the background with a fitness instructor.
“Behold the wonders of China. Bitcoin mines, forced labor camps where children make smartphones, and romance,” says the fitness instructor.
