Kate Hudson really doesn’t like the nepo baby label

Nepotism runs far in Hollywood but isn’t unique to Hollywood by a longshot. The word got brought into the spotlight again this year after a New Yorker profile compiled a list called ‘The Year of the Nepo Baby.’ The list also contained references to none other than Kate Hudson who perhaps is one of Hollywood’s best known nepo babies as the daughter of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

“I actually think there are other industries where it’s [more common],” the actor told the Independent in an interview published over the weekend. “I see it in business way more than I see it in Hollywood,” the 43-year-old added. “Sometimes I’ve been in business meetings where I’m like, ‘Wait, whose child is this?’ Like, ‘This person knows nothing!'”
