Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss dead at 40

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss perhaps best known as one of the many personalities to emerge from The Ellen Degeneres Show apart from being a successful DJ has died. According to reports, Boss died from a reported suicide on Wednesday to the shock of fans; friends, and his closest loved ones.

His wife confirmed to CNN and People on Wednesday. He was 40.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” Boss’ wife, Allison Holker Boss, told People in a statement. “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

The Ellen Degeneres Show wasn’t the only time the world had heard of or from Boss. In 2008, he competed on So You Think You Can Dance and came out as the runner-up. He and his wife Allison Holker also hosted Disney’s Fairytale Weddings on Disney+ and Freeform. He apart from his many appearances on T.V and as a co-host with Ellen was a successful hip-hop dancer; producer, and DJ. His final role is in Disney’s Hip Hop Nutcracker which came out earlier this year.
