EU officially adopts rule requiring Apple to fully adopt USB-C chargers

New phones that you may buy in the European Union are set to eventually by standard to come with USB-C chargers. According to officials in the European Union, legislation formally requiring USB-C chagers from Apple on devices going forward has been passed. The legislation is likely set to have ramifications worldwide as many have grappled with the fact that Apple either provides outdated chargers or they simply have to keep buying them with every purchase. Thus resulting in numerous cords for each different device Apple may release.
