Donald Trump and company appear to be attempting to try and pull a fast one on New York. According to reports, NY’s Attorney General Letitia James has intercepted reported moves by Trump to create a new organization in Delaware. As one might have guessed, that organization is called Trump Organization II and that would mean it is out of the jurisdiction of New York state.
James isn’t having it. James is understood to have told a court on Thursday that the Trump family and company appears to be attempting to use the new company to move assets out of New York. A move that would mean the Trump ‘s are growing increasingly desperate to protect their assets and fortune from the authorities and the IRS.
James is now asking that Trump be barred from moving or selling any assets in New York without the court ‘s prior approval.
