- End of the Road (2022) – Netflix
End of the Road starring Queen Latifah and Ludacris stars a suburban family relocating after the death of their beloved father and husband. Struggling with the idea of loss and moving, embarking on a cross-country move to Houston, the family discovers what happens when they enter rural towns that aren’t meant for otherwise Black people. When that family road trip to their new home descends into chaos and murder — all hell breaks loose and they must then run for their lives. The killer ends up of curse hunting down the family. This movie should be an example as to why people should be very wary of getting too close to places they may not be familiar with.
Rating: B+
Final comments: Queen Latifah and Ludacris are spectacular as a brother-and-sister duo who go against all of the odds to beat a Mexican drug cartel they accidentally encountered.
2. Ambulance
All we’re going to say is this is one of Michael Bay ‘s very best movies by a longshot. It is streaming on Amazon Prime Video as of 1 October 2022.
3. Hocus Pocus 2
Tis the season for Halloween. Hocus Pocus 2 is officially here and it stars the original cast. Happy Halloween everyone we hope the beginning of the holiday season wherever you are in the world is joyous to you and your families. After a tough two years and on, we hope this time of the year brings each of you together and everyone can be a little kinder to each other.
4. Spy (Netflix)
One of our favourite Melissa McCarthy movies is back on Netflix. As an undercover and often dorky spy, McCarthy goes undercover operative after her father is killed by the daughter of an arms dealer (Rose Byrne.) This delightful comedy is pretty appropriate with mild language but that’s about it.
