- NASA ‘s massive Artemis I is set for takeoff (again) on Saturday
Earlier this week, NASA ‘s last mission was originally set for takeoff but experienced a number of initial technical issues. Now according to the space agency, the rocket is set for takeoff once again on Saturday after some last-minute emergency repairs were completed.
2. NYC ‘s Times Square is now a gun free zone (but it is anyone’s guess if that actually matters.)
Most New Yorkers will tell you these days that crime is pretty bad throughout all of the boroughs. But for Times Square, officials apparently believe that simply putting up a ‘gun free zone’ sign will somehow stop that. Over the weekend, plans began rolling out to indefinitely make the famed tourist spot a gun free zone amid a wild spike in crime across the city. This law is understood to be in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling earlier this year involving the use of guns in New York State.
3. Doanld Trump is literally exploding as the case against him heats up
Former American president Donald Trump is having all sorts of meltdowns. According to reports, Donald Trump is now claiming that his Presidency must be reinstated at all costs. The catalyst to his latest falsehood about the election and his Prsidency appears to stem from what right-wingers are calling the alleged coverup of the Huntr Biden laptop story. The comments appear to be in response to the disclosure by Facebook that the network allegedly tried to hide the stories about the reported laptop.
The Washington Post has reported.
In his statement, Trump wrote in all capital letters that the “FBI BURIED THE HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY BEFORE THE ELECTION knowing that, if they didn’t, ‘Trump would have easily won the 2020 Presidential Election.’ This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country.”
4. This is a weather warning for people across the south
Heat waves; floods, and heavy rains. Much of the southern part of America is experiencing varying kinds of major weather patterns. Please remember to follow the directions of city officials and pay attention via your phones if you are in areas currently experiencing hotter than usual temperatures — or major flooding.
