Everybody from Mariah Carey to most nearby celebrities throughout Atlanta is probably breathing a sigh of relief. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, local officials have announced a 220-page indictment against a gang and their associates known as the ‘Drug Rich’ gang. This gang is according to officials connected to the better-known gangs.
They are connected to the Bloods, Crips, and Gangster Disciples gangs.
“What they do is target people who show their wealth on social media,” Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said, per the AP. Among those that had been hit since the heists began in 2016 Carey; The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Marlo Hampton, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley, Brad Guzan of the Atlanta United soccer team, a woman who has a child with the rapper Future and several other social media influencers.
