Last updated on 2022-08-22

Ukrainian officials are denying involvement in the reported bomb-murder of Aleksandr Dugin ‘s daughter. As we reported early Sunday morning, Dugin ‘s daughter died over the weekend in a bomb attack on her Toyota vehicle after he father opted to take a separate car on their way back from a festival in a nearby region. It is unclear why Alexander decided to take a different car, but, critics are saying that he likely knew about the bomb.

According to Al Jazeera, Ukrainian advisers have denied that their forces were responsible for the bomb attack that killed Darya Dugin.

“I confirm that Ukraine, of course, had nothing to do with this because we are not a criminal state, like the Russian Federation, and definitely not a terrorist state,” Podolyak told Ukrainian TV according to the outlet.

Editors note: a previous version of this story misspelled Dugin as Dugina. His name is Aleksandr Dugin.
