According to the AFP, Depardieu has been charged with some pretty serious accusations of rape dating back to 2018. AFP reports that Depardieu allegedly raped a young actress as they rehearsed lines for movie inside of his Paris home that year.
The woman had actually reopened her complaint last year which is what helped reportedly spark the charge.
