A sad story today as it has emerged a local teen is dead this week after having been killed by the 19-year-old man who was having a sexual relationship with him. According to the Manchester Evening News, Alex Rodda, 15, is dead after being bludgeoned to death by Matthew Mason an apprentice mechanic worker.
From what we understand, this happened last December and is just now being made to stand trial. Mason allegedly led the young boy to a wooded area in the village of Ashley where he bludgeoned him 15 times to shut up him over the further alleged revelation that he was going to tell the cops about their relationship.
