With the discovery that some of our own suffer from seizure disorders, we, are taking a time out from our favourite juicy gossip moments. We’re taking this moment to address a 3-step guidebook to help people understand if their friend is seizing.
- Sudden and serious muscle spasms.
Sudden jerks; movements, or anything that seems odd. If your friend is doing the Soulja Boy while sitting in a chair — you should probably pay attention.
2. Seething at the mouth
If you suddenly see your homie going nuts at the mouth (white stuff coming out, similar, to how it may look if or when you brush your teeth) this is where you need to phone the ambulance immediately. Seething at the mouth is the #1 sign of an oncoming seizure.
3. Falling
If your homie can’t walk; suddenly is walking funny, or seems like he/she/they is wobbling — have them sit down as soon as possible. Falling is one of the top 5 signs of a seizure, and, can have serious if not fatal consequences.
