That now famous Greek Ferry Disaster, is something right out of a bad horror movie. And now, it just got a whole lot more murkier. According to reports, nearly 100 people remain unaccounted for in the disaster — most of which can be billed back to the fact of crappy ship records among other things.

The AP notes that ship officials aren’t exactly sure if at least 80 of the unaccounted for every boarded the boat, were killed in a fire, or were among those dead when bad weather battered the ship. Prosecutors are angling to have the ship towed into Italy, however, due to harsh conditions remaining in the area such ‘has become impossible’.

Even worse? Some officials are weary as to whether or not a number of these people ever actually boarded the Norman Atlantic, which can be chalked back up to again, shitty ship records.
