Prosecutors are expected to vote on charges against Trump as early as this afternoon: Report

Prosecutors in the classified documents saga against former U.S. President Donald Trump are ready to lay down the law.

According to reports, federal prosecutors in the case against Donald Trump are in fact preparing to move to vote on charges against the politician. Prosecutors are understood to be prepared to ask a grand jury in Washington as soon as today to formally vote on charges.

Insiders revealed to the outlet that the case against Trump has shaped up to be a dramatic one. Formally accused of violating portions of section 793 of which on that charge alone Trump is looking at 10 years in prison.

Trump also stands accused of obstruction a charge that is also expected to remain sealed for some time. The same report indicates that the charges are likely to remain sealed until a separate grand jury in Florida concludes its case against Trump.
