Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas once shared a statement announcing their ‘amicable’ divorce only for that divorce to now be not so amicable. According to reports, Turner in a lawsuit this week accused Jonas of essentially keeping the couple’s kids from returning to England.
But those claims have been disputed by Joe Jonas himself. People Magazine reports that Jonas issued a statement following Turner’s legal filing which suggested that Jonas was intentionally trying to keep the kids in America by not handing over their passports. Turner, of course, is from the UK.
In the same statement, Jonas claims that the two had met just hours prior in an amicable discussion to discuss custody before Jonas was actually informed of the intent to move the girls to the UK for good.
