Clarence Thomas has been reporting $100,000 a year income from a company that hasn’t existed since 2006

Clarence Thomas’s potentially legal woes continue to mount. According to newly revealed information, Thomas has been reporting a collection of $100k a year in income from a real estate firm that hasn’t existed since 2006.

This information comes from Thomas’s financial disclosure form.

But there are numerous catches. In the same revelation, it has since been revealed that the company was owned by Ginni Thomas’s own sister.

It also gets even weirder from there. The company at the time was known as Ginger Lmted Partnership. It dissolved in 2006 before reappearing as Ginger Holdings LLC which is owned by none other than Joanne Elliot… Thomas’s sister. It is registered as a business that provides financial services in Nebraska.

Clarence Thomas described receiving $270,000 to $750,000 from the Nebraska firm since 2006, calling it ‘rent.’ His salary as a Supreme Court justice this year is $285,000.
