Report: Authorities in Romania believe Andrew Tate helped hold six women hostage under constant surveillance forcing them to make ‘porn videos’

Disgraced social media influencer Andrew Tate known for his misogynistic content and hatred of women is facing allegations that he trafficked or helped traffic upwards of six women against their will. According to reports, Romanian authorities believe after a several month(s) investigation that Tate had a part in the trafficking of six women who were forced to star in unlawful porn videos made against their will. Multiple reports suggest that Tate purposefully kept the women under surveillance and often would have them tailed by watchers.

Tate and his accomplices including his brother are accused of manipulating women into non-consensual porn videos with use of the ‘loverboy method.’ That method is defined as someone like Tate who otherwise promises someone a better life abroad; gifts, and often money. He is accused of using his social media platform to lure unsuspecting women to Bucharest where he would false entrap them under the belief that he wanted to actually be with them or marry them.

The women include one American, one Moldovan and four Romanian nationals. Reports suggest that Tate caught the attention of government investigators and police after the US embassy in Bucharest was tipped off 9 months ago about an American woman being held against her will.
