Despite claims otherwise it does not actually appear that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex actually married before their wedding (legally anyway.) According to The Sun, the former royals married on 19 May and not three days before like they had claimed in their bombshell sitdown with Oprah Winfrey.
“You know, three days before our wedding, we got married. No one knows that. The vows that we have framed in our room are just the two of us in our backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury.” she had said during the sitdown.
