The Church of England (at least by way of one of its vicars) appears to have sparked intense backlash after suggesting that Meghan may have lied about being wed 3 days before it was broadcast. On Monday, a vicar for the church claimed on Twitter that they haven’t the slightest what she was talking about.
“You can’t get married twice. So what was the thing three days before [their public ceremony]? And if it was a marriage, what on earth are we doing ‘playing’ at prayer/holy matrimony for cameras,” the Rev. David Green wrote, according to Fox News,
